Di and Dexter
My love for dogs started when I was a child and over the years my family have had many breeds including Newfoundland, Bull Mastiff, Border Collie, Yorkshire terrier and my big love - German Shepherds. I have had four German Shepherds since leaving home. My first, ‘Snurge’ started my interest in dog training. We attended every week and as time went on I helped with the training and demonstrating in the puppy classes for several years. I’ve been lucky to be able to take all of my dogs to work with me. I’ve worked at Whites Pet Centre in Sydenham for over 35 years owning it for the last 15 years. This is where I met Jane and we have become great friends over the years. When I got Dexter (my current German Shepherd) I went to Jane’s foundation classes and this reignited my interest in dog training. Jane then became my mentor and I have been running the foundation classes since 2020.
Di has a diploma in canine behaviour and training.
